This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 8980-2 : 2017 ‘Ophthalmic optics — Uncut finished spectacle lenses — Part 2: Specifications for power-variation lenses’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of Ophthalmic Instruments and Appliances Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
