IS/ISO 9666 : 1993 Aircraft - Self-Propelled Lavatory-Servicing Vehicle - Functional Requirements

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian’ Standard which is identical with IS0 9666 : 1993 ‘Aircraft - Self-propelled lavatoryservicing vehicle - Functional requirements’, issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Air Cargo Handling Sectional Committee and approval of the Heavy Mechanical Engineering Division Council (HMDC).

The text of IS0 standard has been approved for publication as Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminology and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal markerwhile in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use full stop (.) as a decimal marker.

The concerned technical committee has reviewed the provisions of IS0 1950 : 1974 and ISO 6966 : 1982 referred in this adopted standard and has decided that they are acceptable for use in conjunction with this standard.

In reporting the results of a test or analysis made in accordance with this standard, if the final value, observed or calculated, is to be rounded off, it shall be done in accordance with IS 2 : 1960 ‘Rules for rounding off numerical values (revised)‘.
