This Indian Standard which is identical with International Publication ISO/IEC/IEEE 8802-1X : 2013 ‘Information technology — Telecommunications and information exchange between systems — Local and metropolitan area networks — Part 1X: Port-based network access control’ issued by The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Smart Infrastructure Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
