NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 3) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO/IEC 10373-3 : 2018 ‘Identification cards - Test methods - Part 3: Integrated circuit cards with contacts and related interface devices’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Identification and Data Capture Techniques, Cards and Security Devices Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Indian Standard is published in several parts. The other parts in this series are:

This Standard was originally published in 2021 and was identical with IS/ISO/IEC 10373-3 : 2010. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO/IEC 10373-3 : 2018.
