NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 4) which is identical with ISO/IEC 14443-4 : 2018 ‘Cards and security devices for personal identification - Contactless proximity objects Part 4: Transmission protocol’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Identification & Data Capture Techniques, Cards and Security Devices Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
