This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO/IEC 15963-2 : 2020 ‘Information technology - Radio frequency identification for item management - Part 2: Unique identification for RF tags registration procedures’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Identification & Data Capture Techniques, Cards and Security Devices Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
