NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 62) which is identical with ISO/IEC 18000-62 : 2012 ‘Information technology - Radio frequency identification for item management - Part 62: Parameters for air interface communications at 860 MHz to 960 MHz Type B’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Identification & Data Capture Techniques, Cards and Security Devices Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Indian Standard is published in nine parts.
