NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/IEC 19086-4 : 2019 ‘Information technology — Cloud computing — Service level agreement (SLA) framework — Part 4: Components of security and of protection of PII’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of Information Technology and Information Technology enabled Services Sectional Committee and approval of the Service Sector Division Council.

This standard is published in four parts. Other Parts in the series are:

Part 1 Overview and Concepts

Part 2 Metric Model

Part 3 Core Conformance requirements

The text of ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are however not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
