NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 10) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO/IEC 20000-10 : 2018 ‘Information technology - Service management - Part 10: Concepts and vocabulary’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization(ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Software and Systems Engineering Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2018 and was identical to ISO/IEC TR 20000-10 : 2013. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO/IEC 20000-3 : 2019.
