NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO/IEC 20000-2 : 2019 ‘Information technology - Service management - Part 2: Guidance on the application of service management systems’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization(ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendations of the Software and Systems Engineering Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
