NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 36) (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO/IEC 2382-36 : 2019 ‘Information technology - Vocabulary - Part 36: Learning, education and training’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electro technical Commission (IEC) jointly, was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the E-Learning Sectional Committee, LITD 19, and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2008 and was identical to ISO/IEC 2382-36 : 2008. The first revision of this standard was published in 2017 and was identical to ISO/IEC 2382-36 : 2013. The second revision of this Standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO/IEC 2382-36 : 2019.
