NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/IEC 29197 : 2015 ‘Information technology - Evaluation methodology for environmental influence in biometric system performance’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electro technical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Biometrics Sectional Committee, and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
