This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO/IEC 30108-1 : 2015 ‘Information technology - Biometric identity assurance services - Part 1: BIAS services’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electro technical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Biometrics Sectional Committee, and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
