This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO/IEC 39794-1 : 2019 ‘Information technology - Extensible biometric data interchange formats - Part 1: Framework’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electro technical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Biometrics Sectional Committee, and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
