This Indian Standard (Part 36) which is identical with ISO/IEC 80079-36 : 2016 ‘Explosive atmospheres — Part 36: Non-electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres — Basic method and requirements’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmospheres Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
