This Indian Standard (Part 37) which is identical with ISO/IEC 80079-37 : 2016 ‘Explosive atmospheres — Part 37: Non-electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres — Non electrical type of protection constructional safety "c", control of ignition source "b", liquid immersion "k"’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmospheres Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
