This Indian Standard (Part 20601) which is identical with ISO/IEEE 11073-20601 : 2016 ‘Health informatics - Personal health device communication - Part 20601 : Application profile - Optimized exchange protocol’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Health Informatics Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
