This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/TS 22163 : 2017 'Railway applications - Quality management system - Business management system requirements for rail organizations: ISO 9001 : 2015 and particular requirements for application in the rail sector' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Quality Management Sectional Committee and approval of the Management and Systems Division Council.
