NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO/TS 29001 : 2020 Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Sector-specific quality management systems - Requirements for product and service supply organizations issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Mechanical Equipment Used in Refueling Stations for Petroleum and Gaseous Fuel Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2014 and was identical with ISO/TS 29001 : 2010 ‘Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Sector-specific quality management systems - Requirements for product and service supply organizations’. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO/TS 29001 : 2020 .
