IS/QC 001003 : 2000/IEC QC 001003 (1998) IEC Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components (IECQ) - Guidance Documents

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC Pub QC 001003 (1998) ‘IEC Quality assessment system for electronic components (IECQ) -Guidance documents’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of Basic Standards on Electronics and Telecommunication Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.

Under IEC quality assessment-system for electronic components (IECQC), it is obligatory for each member country to adopt IECQC standards as their national standards without any change.

The text of the IEC standard has been approved as suitable for publication as Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

Wherever the words ‘International Standard’appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.
