This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 25519/QC 160100(1983) ‘Electrical relays, Part 19 Sectional specification: Electromechanical all-or-nothing relays of assessed quality’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards 7 September 1988 on the recommendation of Relays Sectional Committee, and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.
