This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 384-l 1 /QC 300100 : 1988 ‘Fixed capacitors of use in electronic equipment-Part 1I‘:Sectional specification: Fixed polyethylene-terephthalate film dielectric metal foil dc capacitors’, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on 15 March 1988 on,the recommendation of the Capacitors Sectional Committee (LTDC 15) and approval of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.

This standard is intended primarily for use under the IECQ System. A regular Indian Standard for this component could be different, identical or similar to this standard.
