This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 384-8/QC 300600 ( 1988 ) ‘Fixed capacitor for use in electronic equipment - Part 8 : Sectional specification : Fixed capacitors of ceramic dielectric, class I’, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission ( IEC ) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Capacitors Seciional Committee ( LTD 15 ) and approval of the Electronics and Tele’communication Division Council.

Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear, referring to this standard, they should be read as 61ndian .Standard’.
