This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 384-17-l/QC 301301 : 1987 ‘Fixed capacitors for use in electronic equipment - Part 17 : Blank detail specification : Fixed metallized polypropylene film dielectric a. c. and pulse capacitors. Assessment level E’, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission, was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Capacitors Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.

Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear, referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.
