IS/QC 400500 : 1993/IEC QC 400500 : 1984 Fixed Resistors for Use in Electronic Equipment - Sectional Fixed Resistor Networks in which not all Resistors are Individually Measurable

This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 115-7/QC 400500 ( 1984 ) ‘Fixed resistrs for use in electronic cquipmen t -- Part 7 : Sectional specification for fixed resistor networks in which not all resistors are individually measurable’, issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission, was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Resistors Sectional Committee ( LTD 14 ) and approval of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.

The text of the IEC standard has been approved as suitable for publication as Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as cIndian Standard’.

b) Comma (., ) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice IS to use a point ( . ) as the decimal marker.
