NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 4) which is identical to IEC 60519-4 : 2021 'Safety in installations for electroheating and electromagnetic processing - Part 4: Particular requirements for arc furnace installations' issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Industrial Process Measurement and Control Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
