IS/ISO/IEC 30105 : Part 5 : 2024 Information Technology - IT Enabled Services-Business Process Outsourcing (ITES-BPO) Lifecycle Processes - Part 5 Guidance

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 5) (First Revision) which is identical to ISO/IEC 30105-5 : 2024 'Information technology - IT enabled services-business process outsourcing (ITES-BPO) lifecycle processes - Part 5: Guidance' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Software and systems Engineering Sectional Committee and the approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2018 and was identical to ISO/IEC 30105-5 : 2016. ISO/IEC 30105-5 was proposed by India in ISO/IEC/JTC 1/SC 40 'IT Service Management and IT Governance' in 2011 based on which a Working Group was created, SC 40/WG 3 'ITeS-BPO' under the convenership of Dr Ravi Veeraraghavan, India. This standard was developed by Indian experts in SC 40/WG 3 under the leadership of Project Leader, Shri Ajith Thomas, India. The first revision of this standard aligns this Indian Standard with ISO/IEC 30105-5 : 2024.
