IS/ISO/IEC/TR 24030 : 2024 Information Technology - Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Use Cases
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical to 'ISO/IEC TR 24030 : 2024 Information technology - Artificial intelligence (AI) - Use cases' issued by the International Organization Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on the recommendations of the Artificial Intelligence Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
This Standard was first published in 2022 and was identical to ISO/IEC TR 24030 : 2021. This revision has been brought out to align the standard with the latest version of ISO/IEC TR 24030 : 2024.
The main changes are as follows:
a) selection of 51 'in operation' use cases from Annex A (informative), collected use cases ofISO/IEC TR 24030 : 2021;
b) collection and selection of 30 additional use cases;
c) enhanced the use case submission form and the structure of use case description in 7 todescribe the desirable information of use cases;
d) updated the statistics in 6.5 to reflect the use cases in this document;
e) removed the sub clauses that are no longer suitable for the use cases in this document(for example. 6.6.3, Annex A and Annex C in the first edition); and
f) removed most of the terms from 3 to leave two definitions in this document.
